Thanks to a spate of rainy days, followed by 10 days of unrelenting fog, we had a surge (or perhaps, infestation, might be the better word) of mushrooms spring up on our front lawns. These resident mushrooms–which we thought might be of the edible Kuehneromyces mutabilis variety–could also be the poisonous imposters Galerina marginata instead. They have a beautiful mushroomy smell, though. To avoid making these mushrooms our last meal, we’ll have to let them proliferate. For the moment.

thanks! I love mushrooms. So long as they aren’t the poisonous or psychotropic kinds ๐
