A Stroll Down a Lavender-Lined Walk

Lavendar Lined Walk

A leisurely stroll down a lavender-lined walk. I wish my garden was this well maintained!

Late summer in Vancouver is a great time to capture a rich variety of colourful and exotic flowers, bushes and trees from all over the world in the Van Dusen Botanical Garden (the former grounds of the Shaughnessy Heights Golf Club). Ecosculpture reaches a dazzling zenith in the painstakingly crafted circular hedge maze (see if you can also find your way out by going through the exit first), and visitors can discover many oddly-coloured varieties of tomatoes, corn, zucchini and more in the heirloom vegetable gardens (the seeds of which, unfortunately, are not for sale in their giftshop).

Your comments are like chocolate for my soul ... I can never get enough of them! Bonus brownie points for witty comments! I love a good turn of phrase. :)
