Black-Capped Chickadee on Suet Feeder

This gallery contains 5 photos. I started experimenting with burst shot/Sports mode today, and the compact point-and-shoot Canon Powershot SX 270 HS is well suited for these tasks. The Juncos and Song Sparrow kept their (30-foot) distance, but this bold Black-Capped Chickadee wasted no time reacquainting itself with the refilled suet feeder–even if it meant getting within 6 feet of me.

Your comments are like chocolate for my soul ... I can never get enough of them! Bonus brownie points for witty comments! I love a good turn of phrase. :)
