A Spray of Blue Hyacinths

These blue hyacinths (Hyacinthus orientalis) were photographed at Tsawwassen’s Secret Garden of Boundary Bay in Delta, BC in early spring. They’re not to be confused with the bluebells that sprout easily on lawn and gravel, which go by the alias grape hyacinth.
