Inside a Pink Candy Tulip

This is a top-down photo of one of the two pink candy tulips in the front lawn flower bed. It was taken during a sunny April afternoon, so the interior is clearly visible. When I came back to them a few hours later, the petals had closed up. I wasn’t aware that tulips did this!
