WordPress 500th Post Trophy Awarded!

Hard to believe, but I just received my latest WordPress trophy: for writing and publishing my 500th post. It’s a nice and unexpected gesture, especially after going without a single trophy for either one of my two blogs since March 2014 … an interminably long dry spell of non-recognition.

Cue to some celebratory music while we recap some of my other “achievements” that don’t get recognized with trophies, either because they haven’t hit the magic number, or they simply don’t have a trophy created in their honour? Because we need more trophies. And also because I haven’t done a multimedia-laden blog post in a while, either. 🙂

500 is what I need to hit to get the next trophy … but quality over quantity, I always say. And the comments left by some of you quality followers/visitors are certainly priceless!

Visits have come from the most interesting countries and places in the world, including, but not limited to, Guernsey, Nepal, Azerbaijan, Malta, Mauritius, and Thailand. Coincidentally, none of these are places I have ever visited before. But being more of a staycationer and tourist in my home town, maybe that’s not that much of a coincidence.
