A Batch of Fuzzy Babies

This gallery contains 4 photos. Canada Goose goslings at the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Delta were the media darlings of the month (in May).

No matter what they do–eat, waddle, blink, quack, nap, fall over, swim, peck for food, stare at us, or move their stubby wings–it’s cute.

However, it doesn’t seem appropriate to refer to them as a gaggle of geese/goslings. It’s undignified. Especially when you’re going for your noon day swim, and Mom and Dad ask you to do so in squadron formation.

Oh, to be young, carefree, and without a worry in the world!
