This gallery contains 3 photos. These African Penguins were photographed at the Vancouver Aquarium on a very busy July 6. Look how everyone’s looking in a (slightly) different way! It’s a Charlie’s Angels pose. Almost.
Being of the tropical persuasion, the mild Vancouver weather and climate suit these tuxedo-wearing birds just fine and dandy. If things get really hot, they just take a dip in the penguin pool. Like this fella is doing, and givin’ me the eyeball at the same time. The African Penguin stare.
Followed by the African Penguin pair (yes, I felt a little like a voyeur!) Penguin waddle is a bit comical … but I walk like that on ice too, and without being dressed to the nines, like they are.
