This gallery contains 3 photos. Twilight, like dawn, can be an easier time to take photos. Shadows and overexposures are generally less of an issue. Here’s the Vancouver Sheraton Wall Centre skyscraper (dark blue glass tower) as seen from the Cloud 9 revolving restaurant in downtown Vancouver. Photographed on the evening of August 22.
BC Place Stadium getting lit up in the upper right corner, and the Vancouver City Hall clock tower already having received those same honours (slightly left of center).
The Shaw and Sierra skyscrapers overlook Vancouver Harbour. The Cloud 9 restaurant actually revolves at an enjoyable clip for diners and sightseers. You’re not likely to complain of motion sickness, but finding the washrooms in the same place twice may be a bit tricky!
Le foto sono belle, ma che agglomerati di grattacieli, mi fanno solo pensare ad una grande confusione. Forse perché abituata a vivere in un luogo più piccolo e tranquillo rispetto a Vancouver!!
Saluti, Patrizia

it’s true — Vancouver used to have a beautiful downtown skyline — now the skyscrapers obscure it, unless you are very high up!

it’s cool … but I’m glad I don’t live in a concrete tower surrounded by more concrete towers.
