This gallery contains 2 photos. This is a blue anemone flower (Anemone apennina). With the exception of the mesmerizing spore-like center, it could almost be a daisy. Photographed at the VanDusen Garden on April 10.

The nectar of these white anemone flowers is clearly quite tasty. Just ask this bee-coloured fly.
