A Cheeky Eastern Rosella

This gallery contains 2 photos. Perhaps to make up for his appearances high, high up in the trees during our previous two visits, Clyde the (gorgeous and very colourful) Eastern Rosella appeared at the main feeding stations today–several times. Like all rosellas, Eastern Rosellas have cheek patches that are differently coloured (usually white) from their head colours.

Let’s face it, those cheek patches make Clyde look sooo adorable, and when you’re this brightly coloured, even mundane tasks like (messy) eating are anything but.
