Wide-Eyed with Wonder

Could those pupils be any larger? This is Snoopy the Northern Saw Whet Owl, photographed during the Orphaned Wildlife Life Rehabilitation Society Spring 2015 Open House Weekend (photographed on April 26). Head trauma makes him ineligible for release back into the wild–although, looking at him, you’d hardly suspect that. He’s not much of a talker or a mover, but his small size and big eyes make him an instant favourite with visitors.

Wide-Eyed with Wonder: Saw Whet OwlThis Northern Saw Whet Owl takes cute to the nth degree. Taken indoors at the OWL main office.
