WHY BLOG?

Male Anna's Hummingbird on the Plum TreeBlogging is a cathartic experience for me, when spoken words can sometimes be a challenging medium with which to tell my stories. For me, relating and nuancing experiences via the pen (and lens) are often much easier and effective than with the spoken word.

My blog posts are based on a recipe that mixes (roughly) one part information to two parts entertainment; and, they help me to engage/build connections with other fellow bloggers.

In effect, blogging is the personal equivalent of keeping an online diary, and offers you, the reader, a glimpse into my journeys, whether they happen in my backyard, hometown, country, or even around the world. If you have read or enjoyed any of my articles, I hope you do get some insights into my character that go beyond the obvious cheekiness.

  1. I’ve stumbled upon your site by exploring the blogs others say they like and follow. My love of photography had me digging deeper and deeper into your posts. I enjoyed what I saw and have added myself as one of your followers. – Bob
