Cherry blossoms, a common sight in many Metro Vancouver neighbourhoods, are photographed on a chilly first-week-of-spring afternoon. During unseasonably warm Vancouver winters, cherry blossoms–as well as flowers like daffodils and crocuses–will flower very early and give us a false sense of spring.
