Wildlife Up Close: Chital Deer

We spotted this magnificent chital stag grazing (along with many others of his kind) at sunset in his large enclosure. Chital deer will actually stand on their hind legs when they browse trees for tasty foliage! Photographed on September 14, 2014, at the Greater Vancouver Zoo.
