Yellow Loosestrife

Stalks of pretty yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata) grow tall in a neighbour’s flowerbed. Although it is a magnet for bees, birds, and butterflies, yellow loosestrife can take over if not trimmed back. Photographed on June 14.
